Did you know that most of a bra's support comes from the band? Proper fit is essential for comfort and functionality, and sizing may vary between brands. Follow the steps below to find your ideal size with MORROW+MINT.
Step 1: Measure Your Band
Use a measuring tape to find your band measurement:
- Measure around your ribcage, just under your bust, ensuring the measuring tape is snug, comfortable, and level all the way around.
- Refer to the Band Measurement row in the chart below to find your corresponding Band Size.
Step 2: Find Your Size
Using your band size and your regular cup size, locate your recommended size in the chart.
Tips for the Best Fit
Every bra fits differently, so while you may have the correct size, not every style will suit your body perfectly. Here are some tips to help:
- In-between sizes? We recommend sizing up for the most comfortable fit.
- Start on the loosest hook. Your bra should fit comfortably on the loosest hook when you first purchase it. Over time, as the band stretches with wear and washing, you can move to the tighter hooks.
- Check the band. Your band should be level all the way around your back. If it’s riding up, the band might be too large, or the straps may need adjusting.
- Cup fit matters. Your breasts should sit comfortably inside the cups without any spillage or gaping.
These size charts are a helpful guide, but remember—bra sizing isn’t an exact science! The most important thing is finding a fit that makes you feel comfortable and confident.
